Skillet Chicken Fajitas

- 2 chicken breasts about 1 pound, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 green bell pepper thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper thinly sliced
- 1 medium onion peeled and sliced
- 8 tortillas warmed, for serving

Carefully slice the chicken breasts into very thin strips. Ask for help or supervision if needed.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and sauté the chicken for 3–4 minutes.
Sprinkle in the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Continue cooking until the chicken is fully cooked through—about 7–10 minutes total.
Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and set it aside in a bowl.
In the same skillet, add 1 additional teaspoon of olive oil, then sauté the bell peppers and onion for 3–5 minutes, until just crisp-tender.
Return the chicken to the skillet, stir everything together, and cook for another 2–3 minutes until heated through.
Serve hot in warm tortillas with your favorite toppings.
