- 1 pound ground sausage
- 1 onion diced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 27- ounce can whole peeled tomatoes
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 2 sprigs fresh oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 16 ounces 1 pound of your favorite short pasta
- 2 tablespoons butter
Brown the sausage and onion in the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add the tomatoes and mash them.
Add the garlic, herbs, and seasonings. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Add the noodles and butter.
Garnish with basil. Enjoy!
