Summertime Gourmet S’mores Spread

Summertime Gourmet S’mores Spread

It’s officially campfire season! Why not make a delicious gourmet s’mores bar (no pun intended)? I recently attended an event hosted by the Washington Beef Commission, and for everyone’s enjoyment they set out this stunning s’mores bar complete with fresh berries and NUTELLA!

Well, I had to share this idea, so I made my own backyard s’mores paradise. We fired up the grill and made these sweet treats with the un-traditional (but so delicious) addition of fresh berries. The burst of juicy goodness paired incredibly with the crispy crackers, gooey-soft marshmallows, and melted chocolate. The sky is the limit here! Feel free to add your favorite accompaniments or try fruits like peaches or thinly sliced apples! You can’t go wrong.

Happy summer! Let the good times roll!

Here is how we did it:

These ingredients make 20 s’mores plus extra yummy bits for nibbling as you make you construct your own version of this classic treat!

2 bags of camp square marshmallows or jumbo marshmallows

1 box graham crackers

10 Ghirardelli milk chocolate squares filled with caramel

6 packs of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

6 Hershey’s milk chocolate bars

2 Hershey’s cookies and cream bars

1 cup Nutella

1 pound strawberries

2 pints blackberries

2 pints blueberries

3-4 mint sprigs

20 bamboo skewers

1.     Preheat your grill to 350 degrees.

2.     Toast marshmallows to your liking. Use longer sticks if toasting with kiddos!

3.     Smoosh marshmallow between 2 graham crackers and your choice of chocolate, fruit, and other goodies!
