Aunty Jenny’s Halloween Bark 

A few years ago, my sister came to visit in October, and she brought everything needed to make this Aunty Jenny’s Halloween Bark! My kids have loved making it ever since! When October hits and the pumpkin patches open, I think of cider donuts, candy, and treats just like this one. This recipe is great for classroom harvest parties as well! 

Prep time 25 minutes 
Chill time 25 minutes minimum

2 10- or 11-ounce bags of chocolate chips, milk or dark 

Toppings

1 cup white chocolate baking chips 
1 cup pretzels 
1 cup m&m candies 
1 cup candy corn 
1 1-ounce package of googly sugar eyes 

  1. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second bursts, stirring after each burst.  
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, then pour the melted chocolate out on the paper. Smooth to the edges with the back of a spoon.  
  1. Decorate the slab of chocolate with your toppings of choice. I lined the googly eyes up first, then decorated around them. Place the decorated bark into the fridge to speed up the cooling process.   
  1. Enjoy the bark within 3-4 days. The chocolate will form a “dusty” appearance after about the third day. This comes from melting the chocolate and cooling it again, but it’s still delicious. Enjoy!
