Tuna Belly & Chive Cream Cheese Canapé 

Prep time 10 minutes 

Serves 4 

 

16 crackers of your choice (I chose a wheat and sesame cracker) 

8 ounces softened cream cheese 

1/2 cup chopped chives, divided 

1/2 cup chopped dill, divided 

1/2 teaspoon onion powder 

Salt & pepper to taste 

2-3 tablespoons capers 

1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion 

1 4.4-ounce tin Ocean Naturals Albacore Ventresca White Tuna Belly with Piquillo Peppers

Lay the crackers out on a serving board. In a mixing bowl, combine the soft cream cheese, half the chives, half the dill, onion powder, and salt and pepper. Mix until well combined. Smear the cream cheese evenly on each cracker. Lay a partial slice of the tuna belly over the cream cheese. Top with more fresh herbs, a sprinkle of capers, and thin red onion. Drizzle a bit of the olive oil the tuna is packed in over top of each cracker. Serve and enjoy!
